Guess what? The follow up to the hugely popular clan trailer is ready to download for yourselves. The second installment has been made so most members get a look in. In the last one a few of u guys didn't get into it because of space reasons so the one has been made for you guys. I really hope you all enjoy it as much I did making it....

Here it is! The first installment in the [DeAdItE] Clan trailer series. I've put this short trailer together for you all to download and enjoy. Any clan who wants a look at Deadite as a clan feel free to download and have a look at us. You wont be disappointed! The [DeAdItE] clan website has a new update which is giving ALL cs:s clans the chance to take us on in a PCW. If your clan is new on the block an wants to get to know the real deal of competition, or if you are a top clan and looking for some practice before your league games we're ready!

The [DeAdItE] Clan Server has now been upgraded to 20 slot. In addition, the server has also had it's tickrate upgraded, so all players should  get a lower ping and better fps!

The clan now also has a dedicated stats webpage, that has full statsme capability and runs independently from the in-game stats. The stats website is auto-updated every 8 hours.

The [DeAdItE] Clan Server will be upgraded on the 28th June! We are upgrading the server due to the clan expanding and needing more slots for the new players! The server IP will remain unchanged.

Updates to Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life: Source and the Source Engine have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Counter-Strike: Source

  • Added validation of custom player model and weapon materials. Custom materials must be VertexLitGeneric with only and variables defined

Source Engine
  • Fixed "not logged in" error not displaying properly
  • Fixed not being able to run internet game servers for Source Mods in a debugger

Updates to Counter-Strike: Source and the Source Engine have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Source Engine
  • Fixed prediction errors on the client when navigating
  • Fixed bug where server sent updates slower than specified in cl_updaterate
  • Fixed prediction errors when cl_updaterate is a large number
    People who turned off cl_smooth should re-enable it after this release.
  • Fixed a rare crash in physics
  • Option -heapsize now works correctly on machines with more than 4GB of memory

Counter-Strike: Source
  • Fixed exploit with demo recording clearing flashbang and smoke effects
  • Fixed minor exploit allowing thirdperson even if cheats were disabled on the server
  • Fixed bug allowing movement at run speeds while ducked

Updates to Counter-Strike: Source and the Source Engine have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Counter-Strike: Source

New Features/Improvements

  • New Source remake of classic Counter-Strike map cs_assault
  • New "Phoenix Connection" Terrorist model (replaces existing model)

New Player Animations
  • Walk/run cycles now include whole-body motion
  • Players automatically raise their weapon and aim through the sights when they stop to fire
  • Weapon-specific reload animations with removable ammo clips added
  • Shotgun reloads animate each individual shell reload
  • Animated the bolt pull for each shot of the AWP
  • Added upper-body recoil animations for shotguns and AWP
  • New grenade throw and knife animations
  • Spectator UI now resizes controls to account for long map names
  • A notification is now displayed to all players when auto-balancing teams
  • Added message for players who try to defuse the bomb while another player is already doing so
  • Added item_nvgs and item_<ammotype> entities for fy_ maps
  • Can no longer stab with the knife while defusing or during freeze time at the start of a round
  • Player count in dedicated server interface now includes bots
  • Dedicated servers can now use the "timeleft" command
  • Dedicated servers are now secure by default, add "-insecure" to the command line to run in insecure mode.

Bug fixes
  • Dedicated servers no longer crash when setting "name" via the console
  • Fixed bug that would occasionally make player weapons disappear
  • Low-violence death animations no longer float if the player dies while in the air
  • Fixed bug that caused the grenade throw animation to incorrectly play when spectating in the game
  • Fixed view jitter caused by prediction errors when near physics objects
  • Spectators now hear weapon pickup sounds
  • Armor is now given with game_player_equip
  • Extra pistol ammo no longer given at round restart
  • Weaker flashbangs effects no longer cancel out stronger ones
  • maps/cfg/<mapname>.cfg aren’t exec'd if they don’t exist (fixes console warnings)
  • Fixed bug that caused hostage scenario HUD icon showing 1 hostage left when all were rescued or dead
  • game_player_equip removes player equipment before adding new items
